Max

Here is a picture of Max dressed in clothes, real clothes. You might be thinking "has Angela gone crazy, don't we all wear clothes everyday?" Well for the past week or two Max has insisted upon wearing his PJ's. Not the ones he slept in, but when I get him dressed in the morning that is all he will agree to wear. I don't want to fight him because I know I can't win so I send him to school in his Batman, Spiderman or Hulk underoo's.
Now maybe this post makes a little more sense.
Doesn't he look so handsome?? I made a big deal about this new outfit I bought him and he fell for it and put it on. I love this outfit so much and was even able to put a stripped shirt with plaid shorts (that's a big deal for me, isn't it Amy)?

Here are some things Max has been up to:

Max went poop in the toilet 2 times yesterday, I am going to buy pull-ups today and get that boy potty trained!!! WOO HOO!!

Last night I tucked him in and he told me he ate all my candy. I was trying to figure out what he was talking about because there was no candy in the room. He pointed to the 4 cough drop wrappers. I told him that those were daddy's cough drops and he said "but mom, they were delicious."

Last weekend we were at Payless buying Alex cleats for baseball and Max saw these Lightening McQueen shoes, you know the bright red rubber clogs that are in the shape of a car. He HAD to have them and so to avoid a huge public display (and since they were only $2.50) I bought them, DON'T JUDGE ME!!! I figured he would wear them and then just forget about them...not the case, he wouldn't take them off for bed for 4 nights in a row. He fell asleep in them and then I would take them off his stinky, dirty feet and hide them but as soon as he got up the next morning he would ask me for them.

Max has woke up in the middle of the night all week (except for last night). He comes to our room and says "Mom, I want to snuggle with you." Rich won't let him sleep in our bed anymore so I take him back to his bed and climb in with him to snuggle until he falls asleep. After three nights of this I was tired and told Rich it was his turn. Max wouldn't have it, he kept saying he needed to snuggle mommy and Rich kept telling him I was asleep. After he started crying I gave in but this time we just turned on his fish night light and he went back to sleep on his own.

He looks totally cute! I can't wait until he's potty trained so we don't have to hear him scream bloody murder every time he gets his diaper changed! That is so sweet that he wanted to snuggle with you in the middle of the night.

Well...PJs are definitely comfortable. My 3 year old LOVES her comfy cozies. Max sounds like a doll.
