Swim Meet

I can't believe I am really going to admit this but here goes...Alex had to be at the pool at 6:30am for his swim meet. I took him and wasn't sure what to do since the meet didn't actually start until 7am. I decided to park the car and take a little nap. I woke up to my phone ringing at about 8:45am, it was Alex wondering where the heck I was. I told him I fell asleep and missed his race.
He came out to the parking lot and we went to the gas station and got a donut and diet coke. He is on the relay team so we went back to the pool and I was glad to be able to at least see one race.
They took first place in the boys 9-10 freestyle relay. He is getting so good and with some more practice I know he will improve and get even faster!!!
