We met up with most of Rich's family at Grandma Cope's house this afternoon to spend some time with her. We usually take cookies to the nursing home but Rich's mom had her knee scoped and she wasn't up for all the walking yet. We stayed and visited for about an hour or so.
Then we went to the movie. Bet you can't guess what we saw...Alvin and the Chipmunks, the Squeakquel!! It was pretty funny but a little disappointing. The kids even thought it was a little boring. We took Harrison and Parker with us. After the movie it was just about time for dinner so we went home and got our stuff and headed to the Duvall's.
We ate Prime Rib for dinner along with the usuals. It was really really yummy and well cooked, Carrie did a fantastic job making it!!!
After we ate it was time for presents. We started with the youngest. Max got a farm with animals and a missionary bank.
Alex got tons of art stuff and he was really excited!!!
Alexa got a cute shirt and some jewelry.
Rich got Chili's gift cards and I got a beautiful serving platter. we all had a really good time opening gifts and seeing what everyone got.
Carrie not only made the main course she was also in charge of dessert and it was so heavenly!! It was very rich and chocolaty, just the way I love it!!
We had a great night and then we went home to get the stockings laid out for Santa and the kiddo's to bed!!
