Labor Day..Post Race

We went back to Mel's house and ate breakfast...she whipped us up some yummy scrambled eggs and toast and Steve made some homemade Hot Chocolate that was so yummy. We watched several movies, some of us tried to nap not all of us succeeded. We just hung around until about 1pm when Dave started getting hungry for lunch.

 

Here we all are in our race shirts (my dad didn't run, he was just our honorary coach). Some people thought they were too cool to keep on their shirt for lunch (Jason). We didn't really want to 'get ready' cause it was so late in the day so we decided that if we all looked alike it didn't matter!!

We went to lunch at Cafe Rio...well all the adults (and Max and Owen and Alexa and Kenzie) minus my parents who took all the rest of the Grandkids and Amb to McDonalds (so they could play on the toys) they also tried to take them to the movie but it was 'sold out' so they found a car lot that had blow-up slides and other little rides and they played there for a while. Thanks Mom and Dad you are the BEST!!
We headed for home shortly after and I am missing my family already, it was another great weekend!!!
